I had a pretty rough weekend this week. A great start, but a bit too much excitement for my taste. What kept it from being ruined by events (I hit a deer, and my car has 8-9 thousand dollars of damage) was the help of friends. ilexopaca and Ranger Dan came out while we had to wait for AAA to tow my car away, and saved us from the bitter cold. Also, maxrat827 and a_typical_irony came by to visit me on Sunday while I was bored and stranded (they were also there in the car with me when I hit the deer). And today my girlfriend silvertabby took me to Enterprise to pick up my rental in addition to making me lunch.
